Hello World!
Welcome to 603 Melody. I love music! I goof around a bit with photos, and attempt to paint (so far in an abstract, in the moment fashion). I enjoy traveling as time, and money permit (so not often). My house is currently in remodel mode or as I like to call it never ending “construction chic”. I am not a techie person. Nor do I have any musical abilities. I only “play” the radio. However, what I lack in talent I make up for in ideas. I have decided if you are inspired go for it! As they say, if you do not take that first step, you will not begin the journey. If you do not ask, then the answer is always no. So here goes the first step!
The idea for this blog occurred while hiking in AZ a couple years ago. Ok, I was not “hiking” so much but rather walking around Fountain Hills. I had on my headphones, singing to myself as I trudged along (Oh I can’t sing either, not humble, just true). As I passed other people on the trail, I wondered if they would know the bands I was listening to. What if someone else out there loved Bob Schneider or Great Big Sea? How cool if they were fans too? But if you just said WHO? That is understandable. Many of my favorite artists are not played often on mainstream radio. I am excited to share my musical musings with you, and hope to hear from you as well.
